Alcohol and Health |

The main topic
of the programme in Alcohol and Health, as well as the
prevention of road accidents. It is being carried out in
cooperation with the Laboratory of Hygienics and
Epidemiology of Athens Medicine School, within the
framework of a pilot programme of the Ministry of
Education. The aim of the programme is to make students
sensitive and acquire the appropriate knowledge for making
good resolutions with regard to alcohol consumption, and
also, protecting themselves from road accidents.Targtes
and action which, particularly, will be achieved, deal
with:
Information
and statistical data on alcohol and the side effects,that
the overuse of it has, on driving.
Details
aimed at the students' acquaintance with the bad influence
of alcohol on drivers.
The programme
in conducted by means of computer and educational CD.The
participamb are sixty (60) students, while P.Katsiri,
Divinity teacher and N. Arfanakos Computer teacher are the
coordinators.
